Privacy Policy

1. Data we store about you
- Account data: your email address and a hashed password.
- Film ratings you submit (liked / disliked / not seen), purely to power recommendations.
- Session data: login sessions identified by tokens, to keep you signed in and enable sign-out.
2. What we do with it
Your ratings are compared with other users' ratings to compute your recommendations. Recommendations are shown only to you.
3. Third-party requests the app makes
Your browser loads poster images and, on the recommendations page, YouTube trailer embeds. These are direct requests from your browser to those providers. Web fonts are served by Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net). The backend fetches film data from TMDB, but your personal data is never sent to TMDB, YouTube or Bunny Fonts.
4. Cookies
We use a single strictly-necessary cookie to hold your refresh token (see the Cookie Policy for details).
5. Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and ratings at any time by contacting us.
